This worked and fixed my issue - in a snap. Thank you very much! I was so confused this morning. I think that Team Viewer application also affects this program.

Yes, restart Outlook. That's what worked for me.

Unfortunately, since this post I have moved to a different computer with a different version of Office applications so I can't even confirm these settings anymore.

It worked, but as soon as I reduce the size of window it disapear so need to close and run application again?

So what is the final resolution? Reinstall?

Thank you! I had this issue and couldn't figure out why! I could only open outlook in safe mode to get it to work but this fixed my problem :)

Depends what do you want to do exactly. If you are looking to erase everything and start from scratch, you can get a Windows CD/DVD, boot to it, delete all partitions and install a fresh copy of Windows.

On the other hand, if you are looking to crack the password, that is also doable, but let me know which version of Windows is installed and what is the exact laptop model.

And it won't install because Firefox is now 7.0.1 and "not compatible" again. I can understand the developer's apparent frustration with this situation. It must be infuriating to have to constantly update your software every time Google changes something. Given that add-ons like Gmail Manager are the main reason I even use Firefox, I'm about ready to either turn off automatic updates (if that's even possible) or dump it entirely and go back to IE.
